How many surgery videos is too many?
Asking for someone who is finally happy with muscle hue but might hork soon #SciArt
Got The Dissection of Vertebrates by @dpulera open on one side of my laptop and my sketchbook on the other. I could be working out, but I'm building muscles another way
Gonna be off Twitter for a few days, but first here's one for #WorldOceansDay:
"Ow F*ck"
Latoplatecarpus and Hoploparia, digital painting
Given the uncertain position for Megaraptorans in the theropod family tree, I added some feathers. Either it's a reduced basal coelurosaurian/tyrannosauroid feather coat or it's speculative filaments developed in derived allosauroids, take yer pick
Aight so I'm awake now and done today's work so here's a bit more on this guy. First, I went off @AshleyPalaeo's skeletal, which is currently the only reliable skeletal for Australovenator. You can see more of her stuff here: https://t.co/JW65IuNING
Australovenator night 2. @AshleyPalaeo's skeletals have become my go-to for Aussie Dinos. Also props to Aaron Griffin for putting his brushes out there for other artists to use, check out his stuff here: https://t.co/wU3Icz80jW
The new Spino paper has a lot to think about, but something from the supp that hasn't been talked about a lot is this figure. This casts further doubt on the identity of the "neotype" as S. aegyptiacus (from Ibrahim et al, 2020)
Quick late-night colour mockup it’s Borealopelta, figuring out composition for a painting. I actually have time to paint traditionally now, go figure
Question: Where did the trend for large scutes on the maxilla of tyrannosaurids come from? Wondering if there's any anatomical evidence for it as I complete this piece #SciArt
