SNEAK PEEK from my latest commission work- tidying up some native NZ fluff-balls 🌸🌟🌸

I like to imagine this critter lives in the local village pond - causing trouble for the other fishy inhabitants and giving a nasty nip to any one brave enough to try fish it up! But is no match for when King Heron is in town and wants a bite to eat 🐟🐟🐟

We are so close to Christmas and the end of year now! I'm really obsessed with snuggly cosy cottages; they look twice as cosy when they're covered in snow!! I'm actually heading home for Christmas (summer time, AH YEAH) but enjoying the festivities in the lead up!

Dreaming of warmer and brighter days!! The cold and darkness in Scottish winter does lend itself to more cosy vibes, but this morning I'm craving blue skies and beach days! <3

As a kid, I was always fascinated by little blue speckled eggs that I would sometimes find on the ground. Turns out that these are blackbird eggs! Nestling in the ivy for protection ~~
