Working on the second face

Is that it?
Can I call this painting done now? Have I finally got a likeness of Jack Grealish?

I think so….

An interesting pause.
I’ve repainted the right side of the face and finally I can see the likeness when I cover up the left side.

My painting of Grealish is dry but there’s a couple of minor adjustments I need to make. The left ear is a bit pointy so I’ll need to round that off. There’s too much shadow under the right eye and the lower lip isn’t quite lined up with the upper. Otherwise perfect #Grealish

So here I’ve mixed the darkest tone in the face and begun painting over the dark areas. I’m going to have to keep re-checking that line from the nose down to the chin so I don’t go down the lopsided route again.
