Iv'e noticed that Takeshi Shudo mentions "Sasuga no Sarutobi" often in his entries. He has indeed written the script for 16 episodes for that anime. The most out of the other writers.

When I think of the first part of Evangelion 4.0 I think of this film at times . . .but then I also think of this. . .

Yup yup. For episode 17 and 22. Mainly 17 because Tsurumaki and Sadamoto were also AD for episode 22.

He also did a bit of key animation for episode 16.
