Plas’ belt sort of sticks out, which makes it look like it’s a different part of his costume. Which is interesting because it’s never been shown like this before aside from like… Alex Ross? Flashpoint? Still, neat!

Things I’ve noticed: definitely Plas, with the hair and goggles being soooorta visible in Plas’ style. Elongated Man, who at least one person thinks it is as a bait-switch, has different hair styles and no goggles

Heck Kyle Baker in his 2004 Plastic Man series, always parodying whatever was going on in the comics at that time, poked fun at this, long before it kinda ruined Plas talks.

Additionally, Plastic Man’s costume on the comic is his classic design as opposed to his LEGO used one (a variation of his Flashpoint look), the font used is from his first comic series from 1943, and the pose itself seems to be a homage to Alex Ross’ famous art!

@Tiffany54854884 And you could easily say “well that’s just the encyclopedia’s”, but then James Robinson’s JLA book had Plas talking about how old he really was, and then featured a flashback to him in WWII! And then the more current encyclopedias continue to use that backstory

I’m going to have to ask writers to STOP incapacitating Plastic Man for extended periods of time, often by freezing or shattering (or both). It’s very rough on the guy, given that the total time it’s happened for him is about 3005.4 years.
