The only thing I can praise is that Tayl0r at least remembered Woozy Winks exist, which the rest of DC refuses to do. But that’s it
Everytime someone brings up Plastic Man in Injustice, it’s always “omg he’s so strong!/He ain’t afraid of dictator Superman!/Haha finger key!/Wow the JLA knows he’s invincible!”
These aren’t actual character moments, it’s stuff to be shared online w/out context and to look cool
Not to mention, he writes Plas in a way I really dislike. This Plas doesn’t want to actually take see, or care of his son. No, he wants to avoid Luke, until he can make it about being “a hero”, make it a big dramatic moment. HE WOULD RATHER DIE THAN ACTUALLY BE WITH HIS SON.
For Injustice, I mainly just read the Plas story, and some of Injustice 2. Honestly? I don’t really think so. T4ylor wrote Plastic Man here as someone who won’t take a side on this VERY IMPORTANT issue until he doesn’t get his way through nepotism, and THEN does he do something. https://t.co/5DAnQSMBQX
Shoutout to Plastic Man, who canonically will always have black hair, biologically
Except for this ONE Wonder Woman issue where Circe is torturing him and he has a cool white streak for no reason, and at the end of the book when he’s free he doesn’t https://t.co/VdMDpSO8CW
Here’s something I drew a while ago, I think in like March, an idea I had for a Red Lantern Plastic Man! It’s design is mainly inspired by the Terrifics costume, and a regular Red Lantern suit.
No joke the other day my mood was incredibly lightened by these two tumblr responses
