A modern port of Elevator Action Returns just came out on Steam, and it's a perfect port of the Saturn version, along with the arcade original. May have to grab this and stream it, since the original Saturn version is insanely expensive now, and it's a kickass action game.

Afternoon, class! Tonight at 6pm EST, let's try to get to the end of Alcahest for Super Famicom. It's been a blast so far, and I'm excited to see what else the game has to show us. It's a real shame this didn't come out in the West back in the day, it deserves more love!

I can't stop thinking that it might be fun to stream Lagoon for SNES. Why am I like this? This game is almost indescribably bad and yet I hear it calling out to me. Did I always crave the worst games available to me?

Alcahest is awesome! We're going to continue this in the future for sure, and I wish this had gotten a US release. Great controls, awesome action, Kirby music, can't go wrong.

Evening, class! Tonight's stream will start later than usual, 8pm EST. We'll be checking out a cool Super Famicom game, Alcahest. This was developed by Hal and published by Square, and sadly never made its way outside of Japan. Did we miss out on much? Let's find out!

Afternoon, class! Join me tonight at 6pm Eastern for Nostalgia, mapper Myolden's new 32-map Doom megawad. Myolden describes these maps as short, and not overly difficult, meant to blend modern gameplay with a more simple, classic look, and I'm excited to play it.

I know I groused about it not feeling like Ys, but Ys V is still pretty fun and I really want to see the end of it! With a better soundtrack, I think people would remember this one a lot more fondly. We'll finish this next Monday!

Running a little late, heading out to grab some cold ones and then it's time for the Wizards & Warriors games on BLOOM CENTER CX! Can I finally come around and understand why people love these games? Find out (once I get back from grabbing beer) tonight!
