@DT2ComicsChat I know you're right.
It's funny though that the Justice League cartoon from a decade before found the perfect way to do it.
Biggest rip-off from 1974.
The Giant-Sized Spider-Man comic guest-starting Dracula. 40-pgs and yet the two characters brush up against each other in literally 2 panels.
At least Joe Mad drew a kick-ass cover for the 1995 reprint.
Twice has there been an X-title promotional blitzkrieg where my favorite titles tended to be the secondary offerings.
Damn. What a tease.
An animated Witchblade done in the Darwyn Cooke style. That's money.
Pretty amazed that within the last 20 years of comics being optioned for other media these titles never got a greenlight on a producer's desk.
Most surprised by Resurrection Man -- it's Quantum Leap with superpowers. It's tailor-made for a TV show.
With his big, bold and dynamic layouts, it's surprising Darryl Banks has never had an extended stay on a Marvel title. It's like a tailor-made Marvel style that found a home at DC for a while.
