This and the previous #41 are the two best episodes of Neo Ranga and one of the first of many times Toshiyuki Tsuru and Hirofumi Suzuki would combine for historical greatness.

Not a single drawing gone uncorrected.

what a luxury it must be to construct these layouts in the storyboard and know they will forever and always be properly realized by your animation director. There is a reason Tsuru has nearly exclusively worked with Hirofumi Suzuki from this point onward in time

I hesitate to call these cuts insignificant in the grand scene of the episode but they honestly are. Nevertheless there's no less attention to detail spared, the depth in the faces is incredible
