@blockwonkel @katrinaltrnsl8r Both examples of problems with character encoding in anime subs that I can think of were when the subs worked on the original site, but not on the second site.
E.g. "Laḫmu" worked on Funimation but didn't on CR.
The ellipsis (…) and En dash (–) worked on HiDive but not CR.
