First time really diving into just straight additive/reductive painting. These aren’t really about finish, just figuring out how shake things up. Having a lot of fun playing with black on the palette.

Sneak peak into my moleskin with some self portraits from the past few weeks. Started with too much focus on likeness and now I just love playing with color and edges. Don’t let subject matter limit you! If you can paint light, you can paint anything 🌞
