Toriyama's pre Dragon Ball is kind of interesting, probably cuz Dr Slump is just random goofyness he could do some really different stuff for the title pages

I saw Toriyama trending and I have been reading Dr Slump again so I thought id share some chapter titles that i think look cool. I wouldnt mind trying to draw stuff like this some day

I know the short answer is "just draw" but I gotta ask are their any good guides on how to do Comic sound effects? Lettering and typography is one of my weak points, I have no real idea how to get better and I cant find any good guides, so do any have to have any suggestions?
