Finally finished watching all of Ranma 1/2 bit of a shame that the show ends with out a real ending but over all it was a fun show, unless there are some kind of OVAs that wrap every thing up

I know the short answer is "just draw" but I gotta ask are their any good guides on how to do Comic sound effects? Lettering and typography is one of my weak points, I have no real idea how to get better and I cant find any good guides, so do any have to have any suggestions?
