She was phenomenal in DP, is one of Ash's closest human friends (imo only after Brock) & she sometimes felt like the unofficial 4th protag in JN, with her playing key roles in 2 story arcs. Won't go over the negatives though since it's #DawnAppreciationDay

Also, Dawn becoming a regular in the cast (sometimes I felt like I was watching DP again lol) and May also making her long-awaited return are also in the list of things I'm thankful for in 2022

Before 2022 ends, just want to list some things I'm thankful for that I witnessed this year in #anipoke:

1) Ash as the new World Champion
2) Serena with massive personal & professional development
3) Misty finally returns
4) Satisfying conclusion to Lillie's arc from SM

My favorite companion return. I just love the massive development of Serena, which started from XY & was evident on how she mentored & encouraged Chloe, with Ash’s words as her inspiration

I've long wished for a female lead for the anime, who will be taking up the battling reins from Ash for the next gen of anime viewers. Hoping for the best
