The released Mining and Smithing armours (which can currently be created in-game) also went through a number of visual changes. Such as the helmet of bane equipment.
Some scrapped Mining & Smithing ideas from earlier rework proposals included:
- Necrite (Barrows) Ore
- Invictum Ore
- Aetherium Ore
- Mining shafts (Risk v. Reward Mining dungeons)
- Becoming a 'master smith' at creating a certain item. Other players would require you to make it

Armadyl current model and 2016 graphical update
Unfortunately, the graphical update hasn't been rolled out to every Armadyl model as of yet. I don't believe a graphically updated "Third Age" model exists either.
