@ProfZenos @Trevpocalypse No I’m just talking about the way they designed their characters, it wasn’t strictly 90’s because other 90’s properties like Hey Arnold and CatDog were very different. Chomet and Klasky just had this kind of Fun House Mirror look, especially when it comes to teeth

@Trevpocalypse You are right! The company did originally animate The Simpsons back in the day when it was a series of shorts on the Tracy Ullman Show, before they went on to produce a number of Nickelodeon’s pre Spongebob programs.

I guess I just wanna spit out all my salty LGBT takes before June but
I’m SO TIRED of people online interpreting how well a fictional character meets Cis gender expectations as a commentary on their sexuality. STOP IT. Gender ≠ Sexuality.

The irony is I DO find myself making personal LGBT themed art when I feel like it. Because that is important to me. But I struggle for motivation making this stuff with the intent to sell it 😰
