The artist is Angus McBride, an illustrator of the Tolkien TTRPG who died in 2007, his follows the grand tradition of Mid-Century academic illustration painters. he worked primarily in Gouache and had a real eye for texture and color

My Spotify Wrapped ignored all the new songs I found this year and the songs I liked listening to most. So I’m making my own Wrapped! This was my favorite album of the year, it is excellent.
