In any case, I’ll do my best to experiment and take advantage of this challenge. And because I’m a day behind already, here’s another version of this beautiful beast

Monstrum entry 1: The Rainbow Raptor. Travelling alone or in parental/child pairs, these shimmering, flightless wyverns speed across the deserts of the mercury wastes. First domesticated by tieflings, other races have attempted to harness their stamina in the rusted iron desert.

His name is Lev, and I want him to be the start of a story I want to write. Maybe a webcomic (hopefully not a long one), where him and Vivian learn to observe the natural world, and show kindness and patience as key tools in discovering the truth

By now I’ve come up with a proper term for her species: Deviad (Devvy-add). They’re a manifestation of nature in a particular biome, hers being a lush blue jungle. My tarot card project was meant to flsh out this race, and unexpectedly, it created the nature connection

✨12/31 Sinosauropteryx✨This critter was no bigger than a cat, but was one of the most important Paleontological discoveries ever. The fossil of this creature preserved fluffy filamentous feathers that were so well fossilized, scientists could tell what color they were!
