Ruby is the son of a powerful elf and fairy, but died in a terrible accident a thousand years ago. His father revived him using an ancient artifact, imbedding it into his chest.

Overall, Windsea is a magical being in the form of a killer whale, although the fact that he has paws and ears hint that hes not actually a simple orca.
He has ties to the gods and shares a good friendship with Jormungandr. Hes also huge in size. Like BIG.
