Mostly cel-shaded 2D, Pixel art/animation, and a few experiments inbetween...
Face topology is definitely the longest portion for me, but it's been going pretty smoothly this time around!
I'll probably decide on some more details that need carving out when I get her hair and helmet modeled etc.
Some recent work on a model sheet for Hydei, based on the incredible reference sheet from @.DifmanM!
Been wanting to make some more consistent references for the whole group, and I really want to make a 3D model of Hydei especially at some point...

It seems a bit odd to be posting progress this close to it being done, but I've been touching up a bunch of things here and there when I've had the time... 🤔
I reaaally want to get back into drawing/spriting more regularly but work has just been non-stop busy... hopefully soon!
I'll try not to spam the progress shots too hard on this, but I'm pretty happy with today's progress!
Main touch-up points were:
-Refining the timing/momentum of her helmet components
-Smoothing out rotations
-General mass consistency
