I read four more volumes and caught up with all of the translated chapters of I Want to Hold Aono-kun so Badly I Could Die and it's pretty neat! Volumes 6 and 7 were my favorites, it really feels like Yuri is becoming a stronger individual, and the Yotsukubi-sama arc was great!
I really dug how they acknowledged this cool paneling in Shadows House with the quick tilt down to the clothing in the anime. It maintains the idea that the shadows and living dolls should be both one and the same, both clean, rather than separate individuals.
One change I liked in Shadows House's anime was focusing on Rum's finger while she talks before focusing on her own words from her mouth before helping Emilico. It's a simple, effective change that shows how Rum feels more comfortable around her, breaking the wall between them.
Magical Angel Creamy Mami was great! A fun show about childhood wonder, fleeting moments, adolescence, kindness. and goofy shit. Yuu is such a superb protagonist and the conflicts that arise from her having two identities is always interesting! Mami's music was hittin' too! 8/10
Do I recommend Shadows House after being caught up with the manga? Fuck yeah!
I'm really loving the new season of Zombieland Saga so I drew Saki! She's my favorite character from the show and it was fun to draw her!
