So I blinked and suddenly Spitting Earth has been out of Standard for 11 years? Spitting Earth is a perfectly fine card and very .much Red, so I hope it gets a chance again soon. Its rare but I'll still find homes for it in some edh decks. Scales well for late game creatures.
The forgotten lovers, Kynaios & Tiro. But we remember.
Thank you @bmaeus for another wonderful commission.
Most recently included in the Sneak Attack precon, Soul Manipulation has spent a decade plus a perfectly medium card. Both modes are relevant in your average edh game. Over-costed alone, but solid combined at 3. Its a good card that doesn't see that much play, but I get it.
0/1 Thrull is a welcome reprint only printed twice. First in 2009's Duel Decks: Divine vs. Demonic and then again in Duel Decks Anthology (2014). The 1/1 Thrull introduced in Time Spiral would see it's first actual printing a year later, via Modern Masters 2015. #mtgtokens
Fathom Fleet Swordjack is an unexpected & powerful finisher for my P&K Thopter tribal deck. It has several ways to make infinite artifact tokens, but same-turn payoffs are scarce and easily dealt with. Encore gives another resilient wincon to the strategy.
Oviya Pashiri is a pretty great Legend. She may not make Golems like the newelry revealed Splicer, but makes up for that by making two distinct tokens! Indeed a very Green way of interacting positively with artifacts. She's also one of the few acknowledged gay characters in MtG.
What a delight! This is the most robust way to cheat creatures into play and its what Magic needs.
