I whiffed hard in the GB Hydra. Really thought it would have a bigger fanbase as a Commander.

I chose to go with my "comfort food" picks - things that pick me up when I'm feeling blue. https://t.co/5h147qEOLG
I did end up finishing my playset for Yamcha but that's only because it seemed reasonable after a much more foolish impulse decision earlier this week...
I quite like Vish Kal as a reprint in Double Masters. Due to the collapse of the Anthology series it hasn't seen a reprint since it's 2011 debut. At currently $4+ it's not high value, but I want these one-time Commanders to remain widely available.
If I do want to focus on TD Ahsha but there's still plenty of interesting ( and new player/budget friendly) options. Iceberg has the same 2 token effect, and this beautiful, bizarre Dragon gets boosted by the tokens Ahsha would generate.
Ines also has an ability that lets her search the top 5 and play a card, giving her a that boost. So we can play cards that can sac themselves after being summoned to then summon more tokens for a bigger boost! These two don't even use extra resources.
Some thoughts on what I've been doing for Cardfight Vanguard today. I purchased the Ahsha Trial deck. Its designed around using Ranunculus Flower Maiden, Ahsha to make a particular token, who then has the name/power of your 'Ahsha' Vanguard.
@live_sliver Oh sweet! Straight away though I'll mention that earlier this year we got a wonderful Cell starter deck! It basically tells the story of the Cell saga: The mechanics have you absorb Androids to evolve, and all those interactions make it easier to get your big Gohan!
