@NickDCarver Even a small amount of dithering adds such a nice texture to things, theres time a 3d render comes out of blender looking a bit too clean but the colour reduction when creating a turntable gif can sometimes actually improve how it looks
Isabella, Queen of Thorns 🩸
I made this character using an Artist 12 (2nd gen) tablet from @xppen_uk and you can find my review in the comments✨
They're also kindly offering a Deco01 graphics tablet as a giveaway, to enter just like and retweet this post.
@hwamin_art Always try and have some plan and direction to go in first. Usually starts with a sketch to kick things off and then I go back to make a paintover once ive got some stuff blocked in.
Starting a sculpt ALWAYS looks jank, regardless of experience. Your skill just dictates how good it will look once its finished.
@NarciSeren I sculpt poses asymmetrically so I start by blocking in the main shapes so i can see how it looks in 3D before adjusting things as I go before adding in the clothing a bit later. I keep things as lots of separate parts so I can alter things as I go.
Opening a single commission slot for a 3D character sculpt, priority goes to stuff with creative freedom/ new OC design!
I am once again asking for a Monster Hunter animated series by Genndy Tartakovsky
