The 3-headed dog you have to complete in RE7 has a nice callback to a classic bossfight from another Capcom game. The dogheads being green, red, and a blueish hue are the same colors that make up the eye colors for each of Cerberus' three heads from DMC3.

A highlight of RE3 is switching to Carlos to find a cure for Jill in the hospital. The remake added more horror, fetch questing and extended the lab-basement portion greatly. Yet the original has fantastic music and more satisfying puzzles.

Despite Gun Survivor's schlocky tone, it's lore is quite grim. Nowhere is this more clear than the Hypnos Program. A brutal project all for the purpose of creating the ultimate Tyrant: The Hypnos Tyrant.
