Fun fact! The iconic Man-spider that was planned for 1.5 is actually a new breed of Chimeras. It's the same BOW even and made through the same gruesome techniques as RE1's enemy, the only difference is that spider DNA was put into the human embryo instead of a fly's DNA.

The plant-based BOW, Ivy, was a potential profit for Umbrella. However, during the Raccoon City incident, multiple issues arose for Plant 43, intelligence and mobility. To usurp this, the Ivy YX was made, adding human DNA to give greater movement and thinking capabilities. 1/2
Speaking of the G Virus, the BSAA has special security measures for if the virus leaked. If a G Virus biohazard ever occurred, every BSAA branch in the world raises their threat level to 10 and focuses strictly on stopping the G from spreading. Golgotha is that dangerous

The original release of RE4 was going to have G infected animals. The G Virus has the MOST potential for lore and unique enemies in this series and seeing G Leeches could be quite poetic as they were the Progenitor of the virus as well. I'm super bummed G hasn't returned!

I love the 2 and 3 Remakes for their adaptations of my favorite games ever, but I also really admire how they both took inspiration from ALL the Raccoon City material we've seen, making them a celebration of RE's golden years. So here's a list of things NOT from RE2 and 3. 1/7
Fun fact, the helicopter that finishes off the Ubistvo from Resident Evil 6 is the ruins from when Chris and Piers fight this same chopper earlier. Shot down by the two BSAA operatives, its still spinning routers allow for Ubistvo's brutal death.

There's been a lot of questions going around lately on who's your favorite awesome duo in Resi. So, including remakes and retellings, here's how many times these iconic teamups have appeared.
Leon/Claire: 8
Chris/Jill: 6
Chris/Claire: 4 (mostly Code Veronica)
Leon/Ada: 8

There's an interesting side effect of the G Virus we see in every single off-shoot of this virus. Being able to produce electricity seems to be a laten ability of this deadly virus. This is likely due to the standard elements inside the human body like sodium and potassium. 1/2
The game's ending would be pretty typical as Jill finds the BSAA's bioweaponry lab. We could find out that The Connections and the BSAA are working together to usurp the new Blue Umbrella who've been gaining power since its reestablishment and success at the end of RE7.
Lisa Trevor without the mask is a truly grotesque sight. Curiously, there's similarities between her and the Chimeras in the face, most likely because her DNA and the DNA of the insects used as Chimeras were both able to bond with the virus.
