Oh no quick run they're gaining on us

Struggling with crab-alien design. I want to imply they've already gone through 'machine' toolmaking tech and advanced to fungal 'growing' nanotechnology- but the space-refugees-in-rags-like-district-9 is making them look primitive/low tech. Might need flowing space-robes.

(Krita crashed at the end of the stream last night so all the drawings except this one are in crash-file heaven, we'll try again today!)

Sydney/NSW was weirdly painted as some bastion of perfect covid practise throughout. I don't think anyone ever really nailed down what exactly Murdoch thought Syd was doing well- some vague notion of 'good contact tracing.'

Been keeping up with pleinairapril and heck my paintings so far are extremely potato vs how I used to paint.
It's neat that I'm starting to find my feet again and drawing every day (even just a little) feels really good- but my eyes and hands feel *so* stupid.
