We’re paying for those ‘unlawful’ PPE contracts, and for a hopeless Test & Trace service. We pay for a lot of things that don’t help society at all, and we get told there’s no money for Universal Credit uplifts, public sector pay or social care. It doesn’t make sense 🤷‍♀️

We soon found out this time last year which roles are “essential” for society - funny how so many of them turn out to be paid minimum wage, or less.

Why aren’t we demanding change in the way truly important work is valued?
