In one of my friend groups, there's a bit we have where they have a pet ending with "-arold," and I figured why not: here's Zarold, a great potoo! She's an aloof type who's pretty friendly, but tends to freak out anyone nearby.

Y'know that pixel art of Hat Kid and Bow Kid, as well as my AHIT OC Wolf Boy? Yeah, they are related to my fangame idea.

Basically, I wanted to translate the original game's gameplay into 2D. Think Super Mario 63, which is the game that inspired the idea in the first place.

I'm thinking back to this idea that Mustache Girl did the paintings in Time's End, so I wanna draw that idea out!

I can somewhat understand not using characters and species from the Mario RPGs if they don't think it fits with their vision or whatever, frustrating as it can be.

But there's some that I think could work as reoccurring characters throughout the Mario series.
