In Clermont-Ferrand my lovely German fellow sketchers and I stumble on big crowd enjoying the Beaujolais Nouveau, which has hit the streets today. Have to say, the French are enjoying themselves v much: you can’t go anywhere at all without your Passe Sanitaire, the Covid pass.
Guinness Factory, Dublin Quays: top one was drawn and painted on location, lower one in my Instagram Live today, if you’re looking for something a little calming to watch. Only thing is I did sing which may or mayn’t have been a good idea
A kind of ersatz vintage poster - the pumpkins are fresh and very real, decorating my table as I write! The lettering was fun & gooseberry leaves stood in for pumpkin leaves. Subject for class Tuesday 26th October, 7-8.30pm IST, €5, includes recording, link to book in bio.
Very exciting news - kids art class online coming soon! Same format as my adults’ class, live but with recording, same low price. To kick off I’ll do a free class this coming week, Hallowe’en themed. Watch this space, spread the word - anyone in the world is welcome!

One advantage to living on the wild west coast of Ireland - having freshly-picked mussels for my Instagram Live demo when I was short on ideas. I sketched them a second time but not as nicely: must have been the lovely viewers chatting to me while I sketched. #urbansketching
