The dark bow would remain the strongest bow for around three years, until the release of the chaotic crossbow in 2010.

Today 7 years ago, the quest Song from the Depths was released to introduce the Queen Black Dragon to the game!

Today 18 years ago, the following four quests were added to RuneScape as part of the release of the Kingdom of Asgarnia:

-Black Knights' Fortress
-Doric's Quest
-The Knight's Sword
-Witch's Potion

Only The Knight's Sword still exists in RS3.

Today 14 years ago, the dragon scimitar was released!

At that point, the abyssal whip had only just been released, but it was too expensive for most players. The best alternatives were the dragon scimitar and the dragon longsword.
