Value/composition study, after Hubert Robert

I'm blown away by how nice everyone was about my recent work, I so appreciate all the support. Here's some bonus content - a sketch and two detail shots.

We're not supposed to zoom in too far, but just this once...

Here's some characters I painted, I love fantasy, science fiction, games, the works.

Going to tag @Nozomi_Mats here, whose work, growth, and encouragement have been inspiring me over the year.

Brushes used, nothing fancy or texture heavy, colors + shapes + smudge to blend edges do most of the work. For smaller shapes I sometimes let the shapes randomize and scatter a bit, which you can see in the final image in the less polished darker areas.

Study of one of the newly released #Dune stills. My favorite books and I can't wait to see Villeneuve and his team's work on it. So excited from the first glimpses they showed us, Oscar Isaac looks like a fantastic Duke Leto.

Hah, remember when i said I'd post the final version soon? So that was a lie. Had a bit of an art slump so I worked on some other stuff and made some changes, but here's another WIP.
