Y'know, of the things I thought I'd dedicate this month to, "Rare / Lost Pac-Man Games" sure came out of the left field.
Kamiko was an early favorite of mine, and it's still one of the better $4.99 you could ever spend on the eShop.
With its combination of glorious pixel graphics, fantastic chiptune OST, and quickly paced exploration and combat, It's a fantastic budget game all around.
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove is what you get when you take the original SEGA Genesis game and make it much better.
Its random-item-infused roguelike formula remains the same, but the fat has been trimmed and the funk has been gloriously amplified.
Remember when I was talking about marioportal .com earlier?
Well, another fansite I frequented in the 2000s was nintendocity .com.
The comics posted *there* weren't that much better lol
I'm currently playing my Windows 95 Monopoly disc again, so here's an image of Mr. Monopoly smoking in a jail cell.
Y'all are rediscovering fond memories of Nickelodeon's Mario Party clone after I posted Skipper's happy dance, but did you know they did a sequel to that game?
And it's got less content?
And it's generally worse?
After all the SEGA AGES, Arcade Archives, retail collection, and various other releases, I think there should be a comprehensive list of retro games brought to Switch.
There may be no Virtual Console, but with how much is ported you almost wouldn't miss it.
@MarioBrothBlog That's a butchered version of fanart from an artist that contributed to I Am 8-Bit.
Finally getting back to doing my shot for @CupheadCollab.
Still some ways to go, but the animations are there. I just need to color them all and make em move around the screen appropriately.
