and the egg-throwing mechanic of having to wait for the stupid reticle to go up, while a short wait, adds up cuz the whole game is designed around it, so you're constantly stopping and aiming and waiting for it to line up

And the stun when you get hit without Baby Mario and there's so much shit on screen and not a lot of time to react to it and when you walk a little bit to the left and then back right the fuckin' Goonie respawns
