4 excellent images in the 2 opening credits of Osamu Tezuka's Dororo.

On a personal note, I always preferred the first opening credit as I found it more dramatic and intriguing. It did not overfocus on the main protagonists. It showed how the story was more about War's demons and their impact on our world.

With different animation, mostly stock footage of Hyakki fighting demons, and Dororo pranking around a snobbish general figure, the second opening shows more focus on the main protagonists than on the main themes of the series; which are war and rebellion against injustice.

For Hyakkimaru, we see him slashing at an invisible antagonist. By himself, he clearly shows a hermit personality that makes him an outsider to everyone else. A force of nature that demons and monsters should beware.

@Tico_Romao It is thanks to Tim Burton that we discovered Danny Elfman's music; whose music is mostly known for his movies with Tim.
Thanks to the movies they did together, Danny has now become a big name in the cinema soundtrack work; just like John Williams.

Bittersweet and sad, this story of Dororo shows a haunted land plagued by curses and demons. And how some of them destroy families forever. And how even when Hyakkimaru helps others, sometimes his help is not enough to help others.

Based on Kevin Eastman's 1984 comics, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series was made for a family audience; releasing important merchandising tie-in products; which was crucial back then as many 1980s cartoons were made under toy sales initiatives.

As the Foot clan is now settled in New York, Hamato Yoshi, his Ninja Turtles, and April discover that Shredder allied with an interdimensional being named Krang who wants to conquer Earth. Which initiates a war between the Turtles, Splinter, & April with The Foot.

Due to a mutagen that infiltrated the sewers, Hamato Yoshi became a man-rat, while the turtles mutated into half-man, half-turtle. Training them under Ninja martial arts, he named them according to his favorite painters: Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello.
