To cure the boredom. A quick illustration this afternoon. My cat LOVES sitting at our living room window and looking at passers by (she also loves a wave/attention) so made this and stuck it in the window. Didn't have the colours for a proper rainbow! She already loves it!!!

Well done to my fabulous Y7 group who are coming to the end of their 'Swarm' project. Superb insects which they have drawn from scratch, worked into using fine-liner to create patterns and explore mark making before scanning/printing and painting them using water-colour. WOW!

A big shout out to Nicol (Y11) who has gone back to her old Natural Forms work from earlier in the course and developed it by creating 3 A4 tonal biro studies which she has then started developing using Photoshop! LOVE her determination to achieve...

Amazing oil pastel work from Emily! Well done

Love these! Can't wait to see them all finished. Not my kind of thing normally, but certainly really proud of students efforts and engagement with this activity!

Some lovely Y10 starting points using oil pastel. Colour palettes and backgrounds inspired by Marcia Baldwin.

Had requests for proper uploads of the Luke Dixon/Kris Trappeniers pieces by Y7. Drawings done in 1-2 lessons (most in 1) then digitally coloured in 1 lesson. Black and White copies of scans (unfilled) were printed in so students could complete a tonal colour extension.
