Capcom's CFN profile offers a pair of Xiayu images: one with her mask and the other without. Some other attire alterations aside, the Chinese Doll was never given much of a personality. Perhaps in a future SF entry?
UDON has been the greatest source of the Dolls' individuality. This piece, by Robaato, was split into four for the 4-issue run of Street Fighter Legends: Cammy. I quite like the composition of this piece and how unique each Doll is. More here: https://t.co/tmVUiM4eBB
Unknown artist - c. 1998 - Here are the Dolls in their Zero 3 appearances. They've changed a lot since then, with Aprile now wearing an eyepatch and Février's hair changing color.
Some of my favorite quirks found in Rainbow Edition. The true nonsense is best witnessed in video, of course. A full page is dedicated to Rainbow Edition in the book with the ripples it left following in both Hyper Fighting and Super Street Fighter II's chapters as well.
Incomplete Hugo sprites in SFIII: New Generation. He was all but finished, but considering how long it took to get 3 to arcades, they held him back for 2nd Impact. 2I came out only seven months later. His stage was complete too - I'll post an upscaled version of that later today.
SFEX is one of my favorite games & holds a special place in my heart. It has so many unique easter eggs and cool items. In Japan, it counted the number of bat hits along crowd cheer and after 3 kicks in a round, you were congratulated with a Hat Trick message. Japan only, sadly!
Less impressive than last night's Ryu progression, this is all of his sprites from the original Street Fighter. In order: Arcade, PCE/TG16, Amiga/Atari ST, Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, C64 (EU), C64 (US) and PC (DOS). Of course, all versions are covered in detail in the first chapter!
