For some reason they made Goku really dumb in Super. He was basically kid Goku in an adult body, thank God Toyotaro is doing a great job with him in the manga now. He actually feels like Z Goku again.
I hope that Piccolo being one of the main characters in the new Dragon Ball Super movie is a good sign for his future. Toriyama recently revealed some new Namekian lore as well, so maybe the love for Piccolo is reawakening in him lol
I don't get why would they go with that costume, I was expecting and hoping for something like this.
