Day 30!

I wanted an excuse to fiddle with painting/lighting, and I also wanted an excuse to fiddle with how I draw hands/fingers. This is a redraw of the one iconic panel from early on in the manga, and I think it came out ok!

Day 29!

This is based off the painting of "Saturn Devouring His Son". Did you know that the name of the painting was never assigned by the artist, instead assigned post-mortem? This could be a painting of anyone eating their son. The artist also painted this in his dining room.

Day 28!

This one is based off the funny haha Will Smith slap that happened at this years Oscars. My friends and I were watching it live! It sucked really bad! Legit, the last good Oscars was the one where Parasite won Best Film, and then the world went into lockdown.

Day 27!

This Makima had her YIIKing out. If you haven't seen it, I HIGHLY recommend watching Running Shine's video on YIIK. It's a hilarious, brutal, but genuinely constructive and fair critique of the game that my friends and I have been quoting for months.

Day 26!

I came home from school super late this day, so I threw together a quick Makima orb to fulfil the quota. At the same time, I wanted to give it the ol' Santanael flair, so I turned her into a Katamari and made Denji her Prince.

Day 22!

Here we have Makima dressed as Tatsumaki from One Punch Man. Keeping up with the manga is difficult because Murata loves redoing chapters to the point where I forget where I last left off on. I need to start reading it again from the Garo stuff....

Day 21!

This one had her dressed as Maki from Jujutsu Kaisen, meaning two short skirted Makimas in a row! I watched JJK0 this week, and it was a phenomenal adaptation of the volume. I can't wait for the anime to adapt Hidden Inventory, super excited for it.

Day 19!

The final fight of Chainsawman was based off the finale of Kizumonogatari, so I drew Makima as Kiss Shot. Looking back, there's a specific frame I would've loved to drawn with Denji and Makima, but perhaps I'll save it for Makimarch....2 !

Day 17!

It wouldn't be a Santanael drawing without a :3 mouth. Today was Saint Patrick's Day, so my wife suggested drawing her as a barmaid. I was originally gonna have her chugging a pint, but I think a barmaid is cuter.

Day 16!

This one is based off the meme of Gus from Breaking Bad. I've been watching Better Call Saul with my wife, absolutely insane how both shows are just 10 outta 10s. The second image is a pun and a spoiler, so try not to think about it too much.
