Day 15!

This one has Makima wearing Haruko's outfit from FLCL. I watched FLCL once growing up and I don't remember most of it, but I don't think Haruko is nearly as devilish as Makima. Manipulative, maybe, but not downright evil. Imagine Makima hitting people with a guitar.

Day 14!

I legit woke up this day and thought "I wanna draw Makima in a sundress" so I did! There's something beautiful and freeform about sundresses, especially when paired with a beach backdrop. Makima has been to a beach in the manga, though it was for work.

My wife told me to draw Makima with a cake and I remembered the funny scene where Power brought Denji a birthday cake, so I redid it with Makima instead! Happy Birthday Denji!

Day 10!

March 10th is known as Mario Day, so I drew Makima as our favorite plumber. It also gave me an opportunity to experiment with lighting and shading, specifically how the heat of the fireball casts light on Makima.

Day 9!

This one is supposed to be "What if Makima had her hair down?" but then I reread Chainsawman and remembered "Wait she has her hair down a bunch of times".

This also looks like the Robert Downey Jr. meme.

Day 8!

This one is based off of Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw. I never played it, but I love Suda51 games and my buddy Logan loves this game. I made a twintail variant for my bud @TecFuzz cus he's into that.

Day 6!

I think my brain was on auto-pilot for this one, but I also saw a funny image on Tumblr of a fat Shiba Inu on a walk, so that's what inspired Pochita's appearance here.

Day 4!

I didn't get a chance to draw any of my characters in the #GrisSwimsuit , so I figured I'd do it with Makima. It's similar to how I drew Kobeni in the Starbucks apron last year for Octobeni.

Day 3!

Another pun, this time referencing Majima from the Yakuza franchise. I think Majima would have a hard time taking Makima, given that Majima's wild personality is a front for his (somewhat) sane interior. Makima is just insane.
