Hi, everyone! If you've read any of my self-owned and royalty-bearing work - Red Shoes, Valhalla with a Twist of Lethe, Powerchords, Goblin Markets, Fallen Companions, and Mage Made Easy, - could you please drop ratings and reviews for them at the appropriate venue(s)?
Thanks!
Conventional wisdom claims that “No one sees themselves as the villain.” That’s not true. Some folks know they’re being evil, get off on being evil, and enjoy the revulsion other people feel when they’re being evil...
@angelajcartier @noclaws4alarm has been my go-to graphic-design collaborator for the last 18 years. I give her my highest recommendation.
@LindsayHiller Realistically.
I portray grief, shock and PTSD realistically, too. My novel Red Shoes was inspired, in part, by my annoyance with how flippantly death and grieving are typically depicted in genre fiction.
@jodyjsperling I wouldn't.
I had many reasons (mostly pandemic-related) for self-publishing Red Shoes. A major one, though, involved it being the book I wanted it to be, as opposed to the book a publisher might want me to rewrite it into being.
@TrialsOfBren I just turned in the fiction sections for the forthcoming RPG Midnight World, and will return next week to to laying out my M20 Storytellers Guide antagonists sourcebook Fallen Companions: Among the Masses.
@plusoneexp I am also all about giving players as many tools as possible to play the characters they wish to play in stories about changing their world.
@mommoments2022 Thank you! Cora Ocean did the painting, and she is awesome.
