This week's work involves laying out my forthcoming M20 sourcebook FALLEN COMPANIONS: AMONG THE MASSES, featuring art by Sam Araya, @mannequinmadi, and myself.
Stay tuned...
@DeathxJester @midjourney Thank you! I am now, too. Until about two weeks ago, when my friends @HiromiCota and @mannequinmadi turned me on the @midjourney, I was looking at having to fill the book with reprinted art because I couldn't afford to commission much all-new artwork for it.
#MidjourneyAI has provided me a new, deep toolkit for helping to illustrate my forthcoming #Mage20 book Fallen Companions: Among the Masses.
I've been having a blast with it.
Thank you, @midjourney!
@steinthethird For Red Shoes, I hired an artist whose work I found online. For the rest, I hired my spouse @damianaswan (an artist as well). And for all of them, I hired my longtime friend and collaborator @noclaws4alarm to do titles and graphic design.
@jodyjsperling Genet's dad in Red Shoes is pretty awesome.
He also inadvertently cues Genet to the identity of one of her antagonists - not because Dad knows who that person is, but because of the way Dad respects Genet's name when the antagonist does not.
@jodyjsperling Twelve years. I started as a movie critic for my local paper, then began selling stories and articles, in 1989. In 2001, after quitting a company I'd worked with throughout the 90s, I founded my own publishing company. Since then, I've balanced my career between both venues.
