World Building:

Featuring all sorts of differing simple and complex maps with all sorts of unique gimmicks to them, they were all put to good use. We even learn of the overall world of Aincrad and its creation in-lore so the entire world felt like it came to life.

Game mechanics:

How the series tackles this aspect really invested me with how grounded it made everything.
The evolving world questlines, combat, raid, party, AI, and the way players physically interact with the environment within the game just made the world so vivid.

And of course an epic boss fight the accumulated all knowledge of that floor and was the climax of the questline was great. This animated will be absolutely ridiculous.

What a fun party. Very tight knit group of lovable characters.

The casino plot is over but not truly over. Things will supposedly explode on next floor with the lord of night issue as well so I'm wondering how this will be tackled

Asuna and Kirito have just sort of developed this super natural relationship of trust and love over many life changing experiences and it's been phenomenal. Sad I might not see them for a while.
