So with the action, slice of life, and stakes of everything in mind, it was definitely my favorite novel yet.

As always, the subplot for Laughing Coffin had me on edge. Honestly this was insane. Kirito was near determined to murder someone for the sake of Asuna and almost succeeded. I had no idea it would get that close either but had no clue on whether he'd stop. Edge of my seat.

I'd say for Progressive movies vs novels:

Scherzo LN (Book 4) > Aria Movie (Movie 1) > Scherzo Movie (Movie 2) > Aria LN (Book 1, 1st third)

own thing because unlike movie 1, this movie a lot more loosely adapts the events of the novel.

Didn't dislike the movie though. Was still fun.
