Look at those ribs and those femora! Spinosaurus looks extremely gracile, with extremely thin ribs, almost akin to what would be expected in an Actinopterygian. It's puzzling...

@yellow_fr3ak @UmbreoNoctie @Iowasii So this membrane seems to protect muscles, we have data in dinos showing that there are similar muscles going here (Thx Witmerlab!). At the same time, you can infer where the membrane/mouth corner has to be by looking at where the teeth stop (somewhere under the eye or earlier).
