Coming soon: The Woman in Red. A new collection of short fiction. Like its predecessor, Something Special, this collection includes a mix of crime, horror, humour, and fantasy. There’s also a children’s tale for good measure.

I have a real soft spot for Polly and Ben stories. And as it happens, Anneke Wills is an excellent narrator who tastefully catches the nuances of Michael Craze's Ben. The prose by Paul Magrs is clever and pulls me right into the story, which I just wish was longer.

What's that you say? What better Christmas gift than the gift of reading? I agree completely and I know a good book you can pick up. Something Special, by yours truly, is a collection of fantasy, horror and mystery with something for just about everyone. Available from Amazon.

Something Special is FREE today and tomorrow! This is my collection of fantasy, horror and mystery stories, featuring talking cats, dragons, parallel worlds, time travel, you name it. And it's FREE from your regional Amazon. Thursday and Friday.

Just a reminder that within the pages of my short story collection, Something Special, you’ll find tales of time travel, alternate worlds, wizards (male and female), talking cats, dragons, and disembodied voices. What’s not to like?

Some blatant self-promotion on Something Special is my collection of fantasy, horror and mystery stories available in paperback or eBook format from Amazon.

Man. Self publishing. It took 2 iterations to get the paperback of Something Special where I wanted it to be. It's taken a bunch more to fix up the eBook version (formatting, typos). At this point, I'm finally happy with it. Yay!
