Happy birthday to @TetZoo, who has always been a great friend to me and an inspiration! Here are two dinosaur taxa very near and dear to Darren: Eotyrannus (spot illustration) and Ceratosuchops (sketch)
After I finish the plate of sloths that went extinct in the last 17,000 years I would like to finish this plate of Cingulata (armadillos, glyptodonts and relatives) that went extinct in the last 17,000 years in the Americas. At least 25 species!
The distribution maps are hypothetical distributions based largely on fossil records (and less so on similar habitats) but these animals likely had larger ranges than what is shown here
Oh wow! I just realized we are now 40K! Thank you so much for supporting my art! It means so much to me! I am extremely appreciative!
Stay tuned for some really cool stuff from me in the coming months!
Super cool! Lystrosaurus fossils preserving mummified skin! My choices for these Lystrosaurus for my book seem to hold well for what I see. If someone has a pdf of the paper and can send it to me I’d greatly appreciate it https://t.co/vhd4yX0rJL
I did this concept illustration following the suggestion by patron Matthew Jenkins who recommended I sketched Styracosaurus.
I hope you all like this one! And thank you very much as always for your support! Here is a link to my Patreon https://t.co/Qq5JGpKsCA
You knew I wouldn’t be able to help but quickly sketch Jakapil kaniukura, the amazing new South American Thyreophoran described today. I mean look at it!
