Back then, Nakyum yanked his hand away and pushed SH away in disgust, now he can't imagine a safer place to be as he clings onto Seungho with his hands as if he never wanted to let him go. SH forced NK to touch him, but now NK touches him willingly, so very needy and desperate.

Even in the middle of a panic attack, Nakyum still kicks and screams, instinctively protecting himself, despite his fear. He's always been so incredibly brave, facing the world that marginalized him all alone, standing up for himself with SH,... He's always been a fighter.

Even in the middle of his panic attack when Nakyum is utterly inconsolable and lost in his fear, the moment he realizes it's Seungho, he calls out his name and throws himself into his arms, firmly believing that Seungho would protect him, reminiscent of the time he was kidnapped.

Seungho shows his love for Nakyum, a lowborn boy, and how much he cares for him openly and unashamedly for the whole world to see. His sole focus is on Nakyum and how to help him, the rest of the world just fades away until it feels there are only the two of them.

Nakyum cuddles on Seungho's lap and clings to his lover tightly like a frightened little kitten, trembling and so lost in his fear and desperate to seek comfort. Somewhere along the way it's become Seungho who he's begun associating with safety and warmth. #PainteroftheNight
