Three chapters into #painterofthenightseason2 and there's only a short sex scene and no violence, yet people are obsessing about it like never before, going crazy because of a short, three-word sentence and Seungho touching Nakyum's mouth with a finger. #PainterOfTheNight

The moment when Nakyum asks Seungho why he’s being so kind to him perfectly portrays this ambivalence: the way Seungo pauses, looks away and literally stalls and hesitates before he speaks, all things which are very unlike him.

Deep down in his heart, Nakyum realizes it but fears to admit it out loud. However, the way he reveals the reasons why he came back betrays him. It’s actually a latent human defense mechanism to place false, vague or less important information in front of the most correct answer.
