Clara. 2020. pencil on oil-blotted paper. 11"x14". This started as a prelim for a much larger and differently colored painting I want to do, but I enjoyed the prelim so much that I just continued to work on it as a finished drawing. The painting will be acidic veridian and amber.
Cyberpunk girl study. 2017. Pen and marker on watercolor paper. Inspired by the immensely talented @LuckyBonez
I may do more of these at some point, but finished, color drafts.
Pillow Fight. Private commission. 2017. Pencil on parchment. I had the same model for both Harley and Ivy. I debated a lot on the pjs I wanted them in, but I wanted to keep it fun and cute and intimate without making it exploitative. I dig Ivy in the Swamp Thing tee a lot.
I'm not Spider-Man in real life, but I did play him a few times for illustration reference. This study is unfinished, but I love the composition. I modeled my hands for Venom, but winged the rest. Colored pencil on black paper. 2014. 8"x10".
I think my next personal endeavor, when time allows, will be finally updating The Stage (left) 2002. Oil, pencil and pastel on paper. I’m likely going to do it in the same style as Luna (right). All pencil and charcoal. Not quite sepia-tone, but not quite black and white.
Alice In Wonderland print. 11”x17”. 192gsm archival matte paper. Original art: pencil and charcoal on toned paper. 2019.
